Look, look! Check out this photo! Isn't it crazy!? They’ve grown even more since last week—the leaves are just everywhere! The green is so bright, I might need sunglasses! (LOL)
Actually, there’s a little secret behind this... During this past winter, toky and I worked hard to nourish and "raise" the soil using AMETSUCHI Amazing Soil. And guess what? That hard work really paid off! We managed to pull off a spectacular "start dash"! Clap clap clap! 👏
I guess when the soil is good, the plants' "motivation" is totally different, right? Since we built up the soil's fundamental strength during the winter, its energy just exploded the moment spring arrived! This is exactly why soil improvement is so exciting!
I’m so hyped to see how much bigger they’ll get, but to be honest... my head is already full of the "feast" we’re going to have after the harvest! (LOL) Did you know Sunchokes have so much potential they can actually be the main dish!? Picture this: thick-cut steaks seared with browned butter and soy sauce, or a hot, creamy gratin... Just thinking about it makes my mouth water! And since they're grown in such well-prepared soil, I bet they’ll be extra sweet and nutty!
